Founded in 1936, Diverse Power Incorporated is a member-owned electric cooperative dedicated to serving reliable energy to 16 counties across a portion of west and southwest Georgia and Chambers County, Alabama. Today, we proudly serve more than 29,000 members with over 38,000 meters spanning nearly 5,000 miles of power lines. Diverse Power actively supports community growth—partnering with schools, supporting local development, and consistently works to improve the quality of life for the members it serves.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Diverse Power Inc., Kudzu Networks delivers fast and reliable fiber internet across eight Georgia counties: Calhoun, Clay, Coweta, Early, Harris, Meriwether, Quitman, and Troup. Backed by years of industry expertise, Kudzu Networks played a key role when Diverse Power made history as the first EMC in Georgia to receive PSC approval for a retail broadband affiliate under Senate Bill 2 in April 2020, a milestone that helped pave the way for expanding rural internet access across the state.
